COMMITTE

I have been involved in showing for over 30 years. I originally trained at Rendene Stud in Hertfordshire (my home County), passing the NPS Stud Assistants Certificate and going on to be Head Girl for 4 years. After deciding to change my career path, I stayed involved with showing, continuing to show ponies for the Rennocks for many years, usually the foals, and then assisting Team Harvey at the larger shows. I tend to be found at the lorry or stables, plaiting and helping to prepare the ponies for the ring.

I lectured in Equine and Animal Care in Further Education Colleges for over 10 years, holding the BHS Senior Coach in Complete Horsemanship (II) and also worked with RDA horses and riders training numerous National Champions. Although I have spent little time on a horse in the show ring, I enjoy riding having competed in dressage, showjumping and Side Saddle and I hope to produce my young RoR to be the Small Hack I have dreamed of since I was 16.

My day job is Equine Manager of Hertfordshire County Show where I organise the Showjumping and Light Horse sections and I have also worked at Edenbridge & Oxted show since 2024, running the Equine section over the weekend. I really enjoy stewarding and can be found at various shows around the country, usually in the worker ring! My real passion is for show ponies and I have very much enjoyed going back to my roots over the past couple of years, and getting back in the show ring, showing foals for Team Harvey.
