Hi, I’m Abigail Staff from Lincolnshire and delighted to have been accepted onto the NPS Area XI Committee, hopefully to bring some fresh ideas and an extra pair of hands to the Area!
I have been competing since lead rein and progressed through the classes ,gaining valuable experience and knowledge from some well-respected people within the showing and dressage industry! I am also on several judging panels which I thoroughly enjoy and feel it’s my way of giving something back to societies that I’ve been so passionate about from a young age!
I have been lucky enough to have competed at RI, HOYS and Olympia both In hand and ridden, where in 2015 my childhood dream to trot that HOYS centre line came true ! Totally home produced, mostly buying my ponies as foals or yearlings makes it even more special that I have got them to that level with just the help of my mother!
My favourite show has to be NPS Summer Champs, the atmosphere, the venue and a few days away enjoying the ponies with my 2 non horsey children who absolutely love Malvern too!
2023 was a relatively quiet season getting my young New Forest mare out in hand and what a season we had;

5 classes, 5 wins at NPS Summer Champs also taking the Gold Medal Supreme Championship
BSHA National Champs NF Champion and final four in the Price Family In Hand Championship Qualifier.
Here’s looking forward to a successful 2024 but also helping a wonderful Committee here at Area XI
